New Assistant Coach Announcement

Scoresby Football Netball Club is pleased to welcome Andy La Marca to the club as a Senior Assistant Coach. Andy will be taking on the role as the Midfield Coach in 2027 with an aim to enhance the program and provide fresh insights to our program.

Andy’s football background saw him come through talent pathways as a junior, including his time playing and captaining Eastern Ranges. His transition into higher level footy was hampered by injury, although he still managed to play successful senior football with Boronia Hawks and Aquinas Old Collegians, a club in which he was fortunate enough to also captain. Once again, his playing career was cut short from relentless injuries, sparking his movement into coaching.

Andy was the Senior Women’s Coach at Aquinas for 4 years, a program in which he not only pioneered, but also grew, culminating in a senior premiership. With a young family, Andy stepped away from coaching to make his wife and two kids his sole priority, and is now ready to return to utilise his coaching skills further.

With a very strategic and analytical mindset, we can’t wait to see what Andy brings to the Scoresby system. Please join us in welcoming Andy and his family to the Scoresby FNC.
