Vale Ken" Boots" Tainton.

We are saddened to advise that Life Member Ken Tainton passed away last Wednesday at the Casey Hospital.He and his wife Eunice arrived at Scoresby with their close friends The Callows in the early sixties and became part of the Scoresby family, whilst raising their boys .Ken played in the famous four flags,after retiring Ken took up being a trainer and later helped form the” scorpions coterie” that raised funds for the club. He and Eunice retired to Rosebud but would always return with their friends for functions at the club, Ken was always identified by him wearing his SFC blazer.

The Club would like to pass on our deepest condolences to Ken’s family and friends.
