Victoria Day Awards 2026

Congratulations to our Volunteers Ian Bevis and Frank Woods who were recognised for their fanstastic contribution to our Club at the Victoria Day Awards this week.

The evening was a celebration of local volunteers across the Knox community, those who give their time generously and who continue to serve, often without ever seeking recognition whilst reminding us just how much strength, kindness and resilience exists within our local communities.

It’s the local heroes who deliver meals to those in need, organise community events, support sporting clubs, care for the vulnerable, and lend a hand when no one else is watching.

Victoria Day provides an opportunity to acknowledge our state’s birthday – some 175 years ago Victoria was officially established as a state – and to celebrate our rich culture, our diverse heritage, and allow us to honour those who help make our state great.

Each Victoria Day Award recipient had a compelling story worth sharing – stories of selfless service, advocacy, acts of kindness, and leadership inspired by empathy and a desire to serve their community.
