Vale Ben Austin

The Scoresby Football Netball Club is deeply saddened by the passing of Ben Austin. Many within our community knew him well and held great respect and affection for him. His passing has deeply affected the wider sporting community, and our hearts go out to all who knew him.

On behalf of everyone at Scoresby FNC, we extend our sincere condolences to Ben’s family and friends, and to everyone connected with the Ferntree Gully Cricket Club, Mulgrave Cricket Club, Eildon Park Cricket Club, Waverley Park Hawks, and the VAFA Umpires Association.

Our thoughts are with all who had the privilege of knowing Ben. May his memory be a reminder of the strong bonds that unite our sporting communities, both on and off the field.
