Scoresby FNC Seniors – 2026 Season Review

After the incredible achievement of back-to-back premierships, 2026 marked a season of transition for the Scoresby senior side, with the club beginning to build towards its next chapter.

One of the highlights of the year came on Heritage Day, with a memorable victory over Croydon showcasing the fight and spirit that continues to define the Magpies.

New recruit Liam Malone made an immediate impact in his first season at the club, finishing the year as the Seniors’ leading goal kicker and becoming an important part of the forward line.

Just as encouraging was the emergence of the club’s next generation, with young players coming through from the Under 19s and gaining valuable senior football experience. Their development provides plenty of excitement for the future.

With senior coach Craig Mackenzie returning to lead the side in 2027, the foundations are in place for Scoresby to regroup, continue developing its young talent and attack the new season with renewed determination.
