200 Games for Hicks!
This weekend in our Round 1 clash against East Burwood, we celebrate a massive milestone — 200 senior games for Ryan Hicks.
After two seasons in our Under 19s, Ryan made the transition into the senior group in 2011, earning his senior debut in 2013. Remarkably, every Scoresby game he has played since has been at senior level — a testament to his consistency, commitment, and class.
Ryan briefly took his talents to Rowville in 2014 and 2015, but we were thrilled to welcome him back home in 2016, where he has continued to be a cornerstone of our club ever since.
A natural leader, Ryan captained the club for two years and most recently stepped into a playing Midfield Assistant Coach role. His impact both on and off the field has been immense, playing a key part in our back-to-back premiership success in 2024 and 2025
200 games of dedication, leadership, and passion for the black and white — an incredible achievement.
Get down tomorrow to celebrate Hicksy’s milestone and support the boys as we take on East Burwood!
Joining Ryan with their respective milestone games tomorrow are two emerging leaders of the club, Jordan Granland and Riley Frith. Both players joined Scoresby in 2023 – Riley transferring from Berwick and Jordan joining Scoresby after many valued years at Boronia.
