Further Update Scoresby Magpies Junior Football Club

 

To Scoresby Football & Netball Club Members,

Update regarding Scoresby Magpies Junior Football Club 

Discussions have been held between the Senior and Junior Clubs in relation to rumours circulating about the potential closure of the Junior Club and at this point in time I wish to advise that no decision has been made to close the Junior Club. Despite having a large recruitment drive over the past year the Committee have been unable to attract enough numbers to form teams for season 2021,as a consequence there will be no Junior teams playing in Scoresby colours at this point in time. Both the Senior and Junior Committees will be working together to ensure we can build a strong and viable Club for future years.

I wish to thank Aaron and the Junior Club Committee for their work in this matter and I look forward to building on our valuable relationship and success in the future for Scoresby in all levels of Football and Netball.
