Vale Lindsay Wines
The Scoresby Football Club is sadden to inform our members of the passing of Mr Lindsay Wines on Sunday 17th April 2016.
Lindsay was a 3 time premiership player for the club and was the best & fairest winner in 1967. Lindsay was also named in the Scoresby team of the century in the forward pocket. In addition to this Lindsay coached some junior teams at Scoresby and some of those coached by Lindsay are still active within the club today. Lindsay was often at games and the last function attended by Lindsay was last years "Past Players" day function. Scoresby Football Club wish to acknowledge Lindsay for his many years of service to the club he loved.
Our deepest sympathies to Lindsay's wife Marge, Lindsay's brothers Arthur (dec), Keith and Allan and to Jamie, Lindsay and Marge's son and to all the family and friends of the Wines family.
A service will be held for Lindsay, this Friday 22nd April at the Wilson Chapel, Springvale Cemetery, Springvale at 2.15pm
